Dear Laura,

Hey, hi, hello. Happy 40th birthday! 🥳 Most of the day hasn't happened yet but I hope you've had a great time so far in Muskoka (Canadian voice) and that this birthday ends up as one of the best yet. What a better way to spend it than with your family and closest friends.

I remember the day we met, seeing you for the first time walking toward Bittersweet in your bright red jacket. I was already happy that I was able to catfish you (a pretty Architect with good taste in coffee) into to meeting me (a soon to be unemployed student).

We walked around in circles, sat on the bench across from the Fort Greene Park Tennis Courts, and talked about your home town of Brantford. We also talked about Wayne Gretzky of course. I thought it was going well but I never know exactly what's going in this world, so only time would tell. I was lucky enough that you were willing to see me again and share a first kiss at Big Bar, a place I'd never been, only 100 feet from my door.

It's been a little more than three months now and we haven't spent more than a few days apart. This time we've been together has been really special for me. I can't wait to discover even more about you and I'm excited for what comes next.

Love,
Bradley

😘 P.S. I've booked a little outing for us on Saturday, a week after you're back from Portugal, to spend a few hours at Blue Hill in Tarrytown, NY. We'll be able to take a small tour (not too long) and eat some delicious food prepared locally at the farm.
